‘Sim-Swim’ is the ideal activity for anyone who wants to stay in shape and loves swimming, but doesn’t have much time because of work, family or logistics.

Let’s think for a moment about when you go to traditional swimming classes:

You are tied to set days and times
You have to prepare your bag with all your kit (bathing suit, towel, flip-flops, swimming cap, shower gel, etc.)
You have to get to the pool, which may take you 20-30 minutes
You have to change and get ready to get into the pool
You have to swim in lanes that are often over-crowded and possibly with people that don’t go at the same pace as you
You have to follow standardised training programmes that do not meet your needs
You have to get out of the pool, shower, dry your hair, get dressed, and go back home
Conclusion: Barely an hour of swimming takes up at least 2-2.5 hours of your precious time, which, especially for a parent, is a huge waste.
What we’ve just described is a sequence of actions that we definitely do not want to discredit (they remain fundamental for gaining confidence in the water, especially for children), but it’s just routine for those who want to keep fit and stay healthy with this type of activity.
So, if you:
Love home fitness;
Are a parent (you have a lack of time due to children, work, housework, etc.);
Can swim, but feel intimidated by water and its depth;
Don’t have easy access to the sea or a swimming pool or have time and/or transport restrictions;
Are elderly;
Suffer from allergies, like me;
Are an athlete and want to optimise your performance;
Want to lose weight for good;
Want to increase your lean body mass;
Want to do cardio activity in order to be healthy or for competitions and endurance activities;
Then you could benefit from the ‘Sim-Swim’ method!
